These series of tournaments are legendary in the New Mexico tourney scene as all, let me restate this ,every single one of these tournaments over 10 - 15 were won by one person. That person is known as GAR. To say GAR dominated the Albuquerque scene during this time period is very true. X-Topia likes to thank GAR. He may know it  or not, he helped a new generation of players be motivated to take the game to the next level,  paving the way for the idea of X-Topia.com to be envisioned. 

    The Tekken Tag Tournament scene really catapulted a new generation of players. This was not the first tournament there were others before this (Street fighter EX, D.O.A tournaments at Replay games, ect) But this is when X-topia first started to document it.
